October Is the Month of the Rosary
And if you’ve been feeling the nudge to go deeper, here’s your sign. You can do it. Even with a full house. Even with ten kids. Even with a job, overflowing laundry, nonstop sports schedules, and a kitchen sink that mysteriously refills itself with unclaimed dishes.

I pray all four sets of mysteries every day. Not because I’m extra holy. I’m not. I’m just a work-in-progress guy who needs the Rosary to stay grounded. This devotion isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up, bead by bead, and letting God work on your heart.

Four Rosaries a Day? Isn’t That… a Lot?

Let’s break it down. One Rosary takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Four Rosaries? About an hour in total.

Sounds like too much?

Well, if you have time to scroll TikTok, binge reels, or deep dive into a group chat about who’s bringing dessert — then yes, you’ve got time.

Trade one scroll session for a decade. Pray while folding laundry, commuting, walking the dog, or cooking dinner. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to happen.

How I Fit It In

We pray one Rosary together as a family every evening, following the traditional mysteries for each day:

That family Rosary is sacred time. It’s a spiritual reset. It’s loud, imperfect, grace-filled, and beautiful. Then I pray the other three mysteries on my own — usually in the car. If I’m driving, I’m praying.

Shortcut That Helped Me

Here’s a time-saving tip: you only need to say the opening prayers once a day — the Apostles’ Creed, Our Father, three Hail Marys, and Glory Be. Knock those out at the beginning, and then just move from one set of mysteries to the next. It keeps things flowing without breaking the rhythm.

You Don’t Have to Start at Four

New to this? Don’t stress. Start with one decade a day. Then build to one full Rosary. Then two. I didn’t start overnight either. But the fruits? Peace. Clarity. Strength in chaos. A deeper love for Jesus and Mary. It’s real.

Why Bother? Because the Promises Are Incredible

Our Lady gave 15 promises to those who faithfully pray the Rosary. A few of my favorites:

These aren’t just nice words. They’re real promises from a real Mother who knows exactly what we need.

You’ve Got This

Start with one. Add when you can. Make it part of your day, not something you squeeze in at the end like brushing your teeth half-asleep. Let the Rosary shape your home, your heart, and your habits.

The Rosary is not just a prayer. It’s a weapon. It’s a lifeline. It’s peace in the middle of the storm. And if you’re looking for a reset — spiritually, emotionally, or mentally — this is it.
