We are a Catholic family of twelve, with two of our children already in heaven. Life in our home is full, joyful, and often chaotic, but at the heart of it all is our deep desire to live each day rooted in faith. We call it living liturgically strong.

For us, that means aligning every part of life with Christ. We end each day by praying the Rosary together as a family after dinner. It is our daily anchor and a way to bring the whole house back to center. After the Rosary, we read one passage of Scripture and a brief point from the Catechism. My wife also reads from a book of 3001 questions to spark conversation. Sometimes it leads to deep reflection, sometimes to laughter, but always to connection.

Sundays are sacred in our home. Our teens know it is nonnegotiable. Sunday is family day. We all go to Mass together and yes, we take up an entire pew. The rest of the day is reserved for board games, food, music, and simply being present to each other. It resets the tone for the week.

Our children are athletes and train daily, each in their own way. While I do not train with them, I model discipline through my own daily rhythm. I wake up at 5 a.m. to work out, go to Mass, and spend time in Eucharistic Adoration. I pray all four sets of the Rosary mysteries throughout the day — one in the early morning, two during my commute, and one at night with my family. I also set aside ten minutes of silent meditation each day to sit with Scripture and listen.

We go to Confession weekly. I try to bring the kids to Adoration at least once each week. These are not routines of obligation. They are the rhythms that help keep us grounded in grace and focused on what truly matters.

Living liturgically strong is not about perfection. It is about alignment. It is about building habits that form hearts and fortify the soul. It is about choosing Christ daily in the noise, in the fatigue, and in the middle of a life that rarely slows down.
